Welcome to the Catering Xtra website. The company was formed in 2010 by a highly experienced management team and staff. We aim to provide a healthy, tasty, nutritious and affordable menu to local people and to offer tuition and instruction to those who need assistance, encouragement and inspiration to give them the confidence to get back into the job market.
At Catering Xtra we won’t dictate what you should eat. What we will do is listen to what you, as our customers, want, and then prepare your food from healthy, locally sourced ingredients with care and skill and serve it to you in a friendly, helpful manner. So that you may enjoy your food in a relaxed atmosphere with complete confidence that it has been prepared, transported and stored in the most careful way and under the most hygienic conditions.
Our staff and trainees are keen to learn and improve their skills and are supervised and encouraged at all times by our department heads.
We currently operate three sites in and around Wakefield. These can be found at: Café Sunshine at Castleford & Normanton District Hospital, Oasis Café at Fieldhead Hospital, Wakefield and The Main Restaurant also within Fieldhead Hospital.
